Corpus and Jiuzhou Partner to Offer Pre-integrated VAS Ready STB Solutions

Corpus Media Labs, a Digital TV middleware and VAS platform company announces that, ABS Media Service Pvt Ltd, a leading Cable MSO will deploy its STB Software, iPlatform to provide better customer experience and add new revenue streams. Corpus iPlatform enables monetization on all variants including SD, HD, Hybrid and IP Set top boxes. ABS will initially deploy Hybrid to leverage classical broadcast and open the world of Interactive media through IP return path at the same time.

 

Corpus will provide a customized electronic program guide (EPG) and enable interactive TV VAS applications including "Interactive content", "TV Shopping", "Video on Demand", "Catch up TV", and "Multiscreen OTT" are some of the VAS possible with less memory footprint for Hybrid, HD and SD set-top-boxes. Also ABS will leverage the Platform's targeted and interactive advertising capabilities via the EPG home page and banner ads to enable its advertisers get better value for every advertising rupee spent.

MStar and Corpus Deliver Cost Effective, Middleware Integrated Chipset Solution to Enhance Customer Experience and Enable Value Added Services

Corpus set-top box "iTV middleware client" comprised of rich UI framework, VAS SDK, optimized DVB engine and enhanced metadata search and recommendation engine is integrated with MStar SDK and Corpus iPlatform server and optimized for memory and performance.
