Corpus has been chosen as Microsoft Mediaroom Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) partner

 

Dallas, TX and Bangalore, India - May 05, 2008 - Corpus has been chosen as Microsoft Mediaroom Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) partner. Thiscomes with our experience in IPTV and a long and strategic partnership with IPTV operators like Bell ExpressVu, AT&T and so on. As a Microsoft Mediaroom ecosystem partner, we will leverage our Media & Entertainment domain experience and proven track record and capability in developing multiple Value Add Services using Microsoft Media Room technology to deliver innovative interactive services to our customers.

 

Corpus has also established a dedicated lab in their offshore R&D centre at Bangalore, India with dedicated resources set on MSTV technology.This centre will facilitate development of TV 2.0 interactive applications, games, media marketing applications, interactive participatory services, self service applications and so on for our clients. Corpus has development, testing and QA facilities extended for their clients.Corpus also plans to have dedicated STB farm to service various operators across our operational territories in NA, Europe and APAC.

 

Corpus intends to deliver advanced digital TV services and enhanced TV experience from our offshore centre. This will help our clients to differentiate them in the marketplace and launch the digital services on MSTV platform in sync with their Go To Market plans.

Corpus Media Labs nominated for UPC Vendor Awards

 

Corpus Media Labs announces with great pleasure that it has been nominated by Europes largest cable operator UPC in one or more categories of Best Breakthrough Supplier for UPC Broadband 2008 Vendor Awards.

 

 

The awards are designed to recognize those suppliers that have structurally supported UPC Broadband over the past year, and that our able to continuously show improvements in performance, cost levels, customers support and innovation. The UPC corporate procurement department has started a program this year to structurally measure this performance, with in put from UPC’s operational teams in the European affiliates and corporate departments.

 

The winners of the UPC vendor awards will be announced during the summit on September 18 th with awards being presented during the evening entertainment section.

Corpus Media Labs delivers Message Delivery Server to UPC

 

Corpus has successfully delivered the Message Delivery Server (MDS) to UPC. MDS is part of the flexible messaging and the Smartnet project defined by UPC. Corpus has combined it's expertise in telecommunication and iTV sector to provide the TV users to experience multimedia, communication and information on the TV. With support for telephony on TV, message inbox on TV capabilities Corpus Communique platform forms the basis for a new generation of portable and powerful blended services. Enabling the TV to become a device for communication and interaction allows UPC to differentiate their service bundles from their competitors attracting new consumers and reducing churn.

 

The Corpus Communique platform architecture provides functions that mediate interaction between the services of the communication, application, multimedia servers and the Set Top Box that delivers services to the television set. This platform enables a wide range of innovative capabilities such as General messaging and alerts, Targeted advertisement, Service or Network information, Subscription notifications, welcome messages for new customers, Up-sell and cross-sell offers, Promotional offers, Launch of new products

 

The entire working group will consist of fifteen of the top technology providers in France including mobile TV providers (Expway), content/game/applications providers (HTTV, Corpus), STB manufacturers (IDway), middleware providers for IPTV and DRM/CAS (openTV, NDS) and interactive broadcasters for games and gambling (Visiware, Equidia) and software tool providers for IPTV, DTV, and Mobile (NPTV, Club Internet).

Corpus Media Labs joins hands with BFI to launch Mediatheque

 

Corpus and BFI team jointly put together the Mediatheque. It is a service provided by the British Film Institute which allows users to use computer Viewing Stations to select and browse films and television programs held locally on a server for viewing on demand. BFI Mediatheque has more than 100,000 films and clippings on the server with terabytes of database. It provides a seamless service integrating online bookings, information services and content management alongside with the ease of use. The product includes advanced features such as digital content management, provision to create digital media assets, user management, viewer restrictions, ticket generation for users, browse media content, search media content, high quality uninterrupted Video Playback and logging of user activities and generation of reports

Delivers IPTV network elements & config. management system to AT&T

 

Corpus Media Labs and AT&T network planning and engineering team jointly put together the new IP TV Network Elements and Configuration Management System. The primary focus of the system is to establish central repository for the U-verse network engineering infrastructure, network elements and configuration data. The system provides a seamless user interface (Application Portal) to load, version and maintain engineering data. The system features very complex reports that provide the latest data for network configuration. We are glad to work for AT&T and continue to provide valuable support.
